Spider men.

While we were walking on the Las Vegas strip, some heroes were eager to take
pictures with Hugo because Hugo looked like Captain America with his blue helmet.
ラスベガスのストリップを歩いていると、
拓賢と写真とりたいとヒーロー達がよってきた。拓賢のヘルメットを見て、
アメリカのコミックヒーローキャプテンアメリカに似ているからだという。

Superman and Wonderwoman!

Usually, what people on the strip do is they make tourists take pictures with you
and they'll ask for tips after the fact. Nasty people.
But they generously said these pictures were free. Sweet.
ラスベガスのストリップでこういう格好をしている人たちはワザとこうやって、
旅行者と写真をとり、後で半分強引でチップをもらうという、まぁ、
なんとも卑怯な商売をやっている人たちなのだ。
でも、拓賢もヒーローの格好をしているということで、仲間入りさせてもらい、
無料だった。ラッキー♪拓賢ちゃんに後でチップあげないとね。

the Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum at the Venetian Resort Hotel.

Now that the World Cup has finished, it's time to take off
the outdated design for the homepage and replace it with the new.

Yep. We did it again.
We went to another diner featured by "Diner's, Drive-ins, and Dives" (FoodNetWork).
そう。。。またやっちゃった。アメリカのフードネットワークという
TVチャンネルの「Diner's Drive-ins and Dive」という
番組で収録さたレストランにまた行ってきた。

Last time, we visited Four Kegs in Las Vegas which was "off the hook." This time, we are at Red Iguana in Salt Lake City.
前回は、ラスベガスの「フォー・ケッグス」のレストランに行った。今回は、ソルト・レーク・シティにある「レッド・イグアナ」（赤イグアナ）だ。

Masami and Hugo liked the place (well, Hugo liked the baby food that we brought in).
正美ちゃんも拓賢も満足♪（拓賢は相変わらずベイビーフードだが。。。笑）

And there is one thing I must do...

今日は（７月１４日）。。。
Today (July 14th) is ...

拓賢の一歳の誕生日だ。
あれこれ色々あった。
あんなに小さかった拓賢がこんなに大きくなってお父さんは鼻が高い。
横に映っている小さい服は生まれた時に着た服だ。
... Hugo's first birthday!
Many things have happened in 1 yr.
He has grown so much and he makes daddy so proud.
The clothes lying left of Hugo is the clothes Hugo used to wear when we was 1 week old.

ほらぁ、生まれた時はこんなに小さかったんだね。。。ほのぼの。。。
上の写真に映っていた洋服もこの時期はよろよろだったな。
See how tiny he was when he was born! Good old days for him...
In this picture, Hugo is wearing the same clothes you saw on the last picture.

This is what we've been craving for: Makino restaurant in Las Vegas... a (pseudo) Japanese food buffet!
There are two Makinos in LV. This is the one that is in the outlet mall.
Dinner was about $23 per person.
やっとここにこれた。ラスベガスの日本食（？）バフェ、「まきの」だ。
「まきの」はラスベガスに２店ある。これはアウトレットモール内にある支店だ。
ディナーは一人＄２３といったところか。他の日本食レストランよりかなり得である。
