つい最近、友人の結婚披露宴に行ってきた。

There was a long line to meet the bride and groom
but the building interior entertained us well (especially Hugo).
They were serving Masami's favorite cakes. She can't have too much of those.
花婿花嫁に挨拶するために長い列があったが、
綺麗な装飾がエンターテイメントさせてくれた（特に拓賢）。
正美ちゃんの好きなケーキもあったので、
「おいしいおいしい」と食べる。
This was Masami's first time to attend an American wedding reception.
She seemed to enjoy the casual mood of the reception.
正美ちゃんにとってはアメリカ人の披露宴に行くにははじめて。
「こういう風にカジュアルにやるんだねぇ。」と感想をつぶやく。
Congratulations to our good friends. Hope the best for their future.

currently a professor at Stanford, CA.
彼の名前はトレバー・ヘイスティー。我が輩の尊敬する統計学者の一人。
今カリフォルニア州のスタンフォード大学の教授。
He has particular interests in Biology, genomics, medicines,
data mining and classification problems.
生物やゲノミクス、医学、データマイニング、
統計分類などのエリートである。
And he...

Hugo plays with his cousins in a little house made from boxes.
ダンボール箱で作った小さな家で遊ぶ3人。
前回の年末年始はカリフォルニア州のサンホゼ市で
義理の家族と過ごさせていただいた。
My in-laws in San Jose California let us stay at their house
for the Christmas and New Year.

拓賢としては、頼もしい従兄弟が二人もいたので結構楽しそうにしていた。
おもちゃを取り合ったり、一緒にToy Storyの映画見たり、おふろ入ったり...
For Hugo, it was good that he was able to meet two of his cousins.
They did many things together: fighting for toys, watching toy stories, etc.
一緒にたくさん遊んでもらって嬉しかったのか、
ユタに帰っても従兄弟の名前を時々ふと口にする。
I think his cousins left him good impressions
because every now and then Hugo calls out their names.
去年の年末にモントレに行った時のビデオ。
Monterey is located 2, 3 hours South from San Francisco.
My in-laws kindly took us there. Thanks!

2、3時間くらい南に行ったところに位置する。
義理の家族の人達につれていってもらいました。
