Quiner family and we went to the Draper temple Open House. The Draper Utah Temple is the 129th temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, dedicated as such on 20 through 22 March, 2009. Prior to the dedication, the LDS temple allows general public to visit inside the temple. We were not allowed to take pictures, but there was exhibits at the end of the tour and we were allowed to take the pictures there. A temple is a building dedicated to be a house of God and is reserved for special forms of worship. A temple differs from a church meetinghouse, which is used for weekly worship services. Temples have been a significant part of the Latter Day Saints since its inception. Today, 129 temples are operated by several Latter Day Saint denominations. 
In ancient times, God commanded Moses to build a sanctuary for his people called the Tabernacle in the wilderness. After the children of Israel arrived their promised land, Solomon was commanded to build a final resting place for the ark of the covenant. In our day, the Lord once again commmanded Prophets to build temples, where people can receive revelations and commandments from the Lord. 
One of the important orinances performed in the temple is the eternal marriage. We believe that the marriage is ordained of God and that, through Jesus Christ, our family can be united forever even after this life. Masami and I were joined together in the matromony under the same covenant that are performed in the temple. We will eternally cherish our relationship. We love the temple, we are greatly indebted to the Lord.

Since Masami was in California for her birthday, we had a late birthday celebration for Masami. We went to the Tucano, the Brazilian restaurant. At Tucanos, they have salad bars. But more importantly, they bring meat to your table. Meat that have been cooked just few seconds ago. They bring BBQs, steaks, ribs, turkey, etc. If you ever get a chance to go to Tucanos, you better wear loose pants. 
Tucano's also offer birthday discounts. If you visit during your birthday month, then the meal is 2 for 1. There is no better deals than this.

This site is amazing. They let your design your book from scratch to the end. And the only cost in the printing and the shipping cost. It's definately worth it.
Anyway, this was my suprise to my birthday. It was been 6 months since we got married. we pray that our relationship will last throughout the eternities.

We invited missionaries for the Christmas dinner. One missionary was from Virginia and one was from Haiti. Great and fun missionaries. 
For the New Year, we were invited to Aki's parents (my brother-in-law's parents) house. Aki's father works at the Benihana so we had nice sushi for the New Year meal! Awesome. Couple of days after the New Year, we took a short trip to San Francisco. It was my first time and we only had 4 hours to enjoy. We went to pier, golden bridge and the steep hills at downtown.
My stayed in California longer than I did because she hoped to get over her morning sickness before she returned to Provo. We would separated for 3 weeks. Plus, she would have her sister to help her.
Ever since Masami and I started dating, there have been many occasions where we had to be apart from each other for a long time; each time at least a months. The longest was 6 months. But we continue to build even stronger relationships despite difficult times. We are grateful for many families and friends who support us.
The Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square are invited Broadway star Brian Stokes Mitchell and stage and screen star Edward Herrmann as guest performers for their annual Christmas Concert. We were fortunate to get tickets from the Quiner family. The Conference Center at Salt Lake Temple Square was filled with guests with all over the country to watch this annual event. It was the first time for Masami to hear Mormon Tabernacle Choir sing live. The performances were stunning. 
President Monson and President Uchtdorf also came to see the performance. After the concert, we made short visit to the temple square to contemplate the Christmas Season. Knowles family who baptized my wife's family invited us to the Thanksgiving dinner. We drove to the countryside of Ogden Utah.
