In Sandy Utah, they hold "Festival of Trees" each year.They say festival but it really is an tree auction.
ユタ州のサンディという街で毎年クリスマスツリーの祭りがある。
まぁ、祭りと言ってもツリーのオークションなんだが。。。
Well, it's an "auction" in quotation mark since all of proceedings go to children's hospitals.でも、まぁオークションといってもそのお金は全て小児病院に募金するのだが。。。

綺麗なたくさんツリーがたくさん。
There were lots of fun trees. There were Elmo trees, Disney trees...
They even had KFC trees.
でも、面白いツリーもたくさんあった。エルモや、ディズニー、KFCのツリーなんかもあった。

National Zoological Park in DC is located in the outskirt of Washington DC. Given the limited vacation time (three days), we didn't think we'll make it out there. But since we were able to get to many places on the first day at Washington, we were able to go to the zoo on the second day. スミソニアン博物館の一つである動物園はDCの外側にあるため、旅行期間が二泊三日限られていたため、行くことはできないと予想していたが、一日目にかなり歩いたおかげで、二日目に動物園に行くことができた。

For Hugo, this is the first zoo he ever visited.
拓賢にとって初めての動物園。
Fearful Hugo as he sees numerous animals for the first time.初めて見る色々な動物に恐れをなす拓賢。
"I want one elephant, please." 「ぞうさんを一つちょうだい」と指をあげる拓賢。
"Wao, it's a panda," Hugo explaims.「パンダだっっ。うおぉぉぉ」と面白がる拓賢。
